Ford Cartwright, Broker Lufkin Office

Ford has over 31 years experience in real estate brokerage all over East Texas. He specializes in selling timberland, farm and ranch land, as well as land development, both internally and for clients. Clients have included Temple Inland, International Paper, Georgia Pacific and Louisiana Pacific in addition to a number of high net worth individuals.

Ford graduated from Stephen F. Austin in 1969 with a bachelors in business and in 1975 from the Realtors Institute. He is a 1979 graduate of Studies of Advanced Real Estate Subjects, SOARS, from Texas A&M and the Texas Real Estate Research Center. He served two terms as President of the Pineywoods Board of Realtors. He is a past President of the Stephen F. Austin Alumni Association and past Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Stephen F. Austin Alumni Foundation.

Betty Jean Cartwright, Broker San Augustine Office

Betty Jean has been a Texas Real Estate broker since 1968 and is one of the top producers in San Augustine county. She is past President of the Pineywoods Board of Realtors and past President of Texas Association of Life Insurance officials. She was married to the late Baxter Polk Cartwright, Junior, whose family dates back to the founding of Texas in the early 1800s.

Eric Gage, Associated Broker Lufkin Office

Eric is a Certified Forester and a Licensed Real Estate broker in Texas and Louisiana. Since 1996 Eric has been working with clients to sell or acquire timberland.

As a 1992 graduate of Stephen F. Austin State with a Bachelors of Science in Forestry, Eric began his career with a consulting forestry firm where he learned the business of forestry and worked as an appraiser trainee. While there he earned his real estate salesman license.

In 1998, Eric joined a small company that was a new type of organization called a Timberland Investment Management Organization (TIMO). During his tenure, Eric filled a number of roles including area forester, division forester as well as having responsibility for the disposition and acquisition of client properties.

In late 2006, Eric joined Cartwright Real Estate as an associated broker and started working on a Masters of Forest Economics. Eric also provides consulting services to investors and lenders concerning large timberland investments.

Robert Bickley, Realtor Lufkin Office

Robert was born and raised in East Texas. He is a lifelong hunter and outdoorsman.

He received his bachelors degree from Texas Christian University in 1968. He also served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War from 1970–71. His past work experience includes insurance executive, business owner and supervisory work with Texas Health and Human Services. He has been a licensed Texas Real Estate Salespeson since June 2007.

He is a member of the National Rifle Association, Ducks Unlimited and National Wild Turkey Federation. He is a past President of Pineywoods Lions Club and life member of the Texas Lions Club. He is also a past President of the American Cancer Society.

Thomas Gage, Realtor Granbury

Tom Gage graduated from Bentley University in 1969 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. He has worked for the past forty years as a Certified Public Accountant in New York, New Jersey and Texas, as a Controller and CFO for a manufacturing concern and as President for a Food Import and Distribution Business.

Tom managed and completed a number of acquisitions and a merger as well as arranged the purchase or sale of many businesses. Tom was also responsible for Real Estate acquisitions and sales and lease arrangements for various business operations.

Tom reactivated his Texas Real Estate License in 2008. He resides and works from his home in Granbury, Texas just south of Ft. Worth.
